A poetry slam is a competitive art event in which poets perform spoken word poetry before a live audience and a panel of judges. Students will choose a nonrenewable and renewable source of energy to research with a partner and complete the research graphic organizers and energy transformation diagram on the following pages. Out of the two sources students researched, they will pick 1 to write a poem about and the opportunity to perform!
